I’m married and have two wonderful adult children who are happily married and one very cute and smart granddaughter (I have to brag a little I am her grandma after all).
How did I arrive at this place in my life doing what I love; making a positive difference in people’s lives? I’ve always had an interest in and curiosity about, people and relationships as far back in my life as I can remember. As a young adult, my undergraduate teaching degree included a concentration in family life and child development. I looked forward to and loved those classes. As I grew older and my children grew older, I became increasingly interested in helping people through counseling. When I volunteered as a peer counselor at my church, I knew that my passion was to be a therapist. Some years later I received my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University. My greatest satisfaction in life comes from guiding and helping people who are hurting and discouraged to a life filled with peace and joy.
When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with family and friends usually involving food. I like watching home decorating/remodeling and cooking show. I enjoy making new recipes I’ve seen on a cooking show. I also, love traveling here and abroad. My bucket list place to visit was Europe which my husband I traveled to a few years ago.
